Job Description

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of company compliance, agreement vetting, financial advance processes, and IP registration and monitoring.
  • The Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's interests, ensuring adherence to regulations, and mitigating risks associated with various business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Company Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to local national, and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and address potential risks.
  • Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, and update company policies accordingly.

Agreement Vetting:

  1. Review and vet various agreements, contracts, and legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with legal and business teams to negotiate and modify agreements when necessary.
  3. Develop and maintain a centralized repository for all contractual agreements.

Financial Advance Management:

  • Oversee financial advance processes, ensuring accurate documentation, approvals, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop and implement effective financial advance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on financial advance activities, identifying and addressing potential issues.

IP Registration and Monitoring:

  • Manage the process of intellectual property registration, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
  • Conduct regular IP audits to identify potential infringement risks and take appropriate actions to protect the company's intellectual property.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in IP laws to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification in compliance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in corporate compliance, agreement vetting, financial management, and intellectual property matters.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
